🚗💨 The Fous du Volant are back on the road!

Buckle up — we’re taking on the Shitbox Rally 2026 – Winter Edition, driving our mighty $1,500-or-less “beast” from Mildura to Townsville over 7 days of dust, laughs, breakdowns (very likely), and unforgettable moments.

But here’s the real reason we’re doing it — to help drive cancer into the ground. 💛

And thanks to all of you… We’ve smashed every single fundraising goal so far.

We’re now sitting in 2nd place overall, which is just incredible 🙌

So now, we’re setting a new target: $25,000.

Every dollar goes directly to the Cancer Council, funding life-saving research and support for families affected by cancer.

If you’ve already donated — thank you 💛

If you haven’t yet — now’s the time to help us push past that $25K mark and make this rally unforgettable.

Let’s keep the momentum going and take this thing all the way 🚙🔥

MILDURA TOWNSVILLE 3,400 km in a $1,500 car FOUS DU VOLANT

Fous du Volant are driving a $1,500 car from Mildura to Townsville to raise money for Cancer Council

They're doing what!?

Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.

Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.

The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.

And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.

This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
