After one failed attempt (we forgot to hit "submit" on our 2025 application) we're thrilled to announce that we're finally taking part in Shitbox Rally! Winter 2026 ..
We’ll be hitting the road in a $1500 Commodore VZ Wagon and driving from Mildura to Townsville (3,829 KMs!!) on an unforgettable adventure with high hopes of making the distance, and a real difference in the fight against cancer.
This is for our beautiful mate, Joda Plex who we lost earlier this year, and Steve's dear friend, Tim "The Wiz" Goodlet who left us last December. We drive in honor of them, of our personal experiences with Cancer, and in solidarity with anyone else going through it.
Please help us raise some cash to fight this disease.
Every participating team needs to raise a minimum of $5,000 So that will be our initial goal.
Every dollar raised goes directly to Cancer Council and helps fund vital cancer research, which is why we’re gonna do everything we can to hit this target! Your support, big or small, will have a real impact.

Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.
Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.
The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.
And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.
This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
