Jess and Paul are excited to be taking part in Shitbox Rally 2026 - Winter! We’ll be hitting the road in our Shitbox 2004 Toyota Corolla wagon bought for $900, following it's transformation into a General Dynamics M1A1 Abrams Tankette. We're driving from Mildura to Townsville, via the Flinders Ranges, the Birdsville Track and the Gulf of Carpentaria, on an unforgettable 7-day adventure. It’s not just about the drive—it’s about making a real difference in the fight against cancer.
Every participating team is required to raise a minimum of $5,000. Every dollar raised goes directly to Cancer Council and helps fund vital cancer research, which is why we’re doing everything we can to hit our goal. Your support, whether big or small, will have a real impact.
We'd be honoured to carry the name of someone you know impacted by cancer on our Tankette flag, so they can be part of this epic adventure. Every donation can be dedicated to someone who bravely lost their battle with cancer, those who fought and survived, and those who are thriving in life after cancer.
- Donations of $150 and over will have their name in a 9cm diameter circle on our Tankette flag.
- Donations under $150 will have their name on the Tankette flag
We can't wait to bring them on the journey with us.

We would love your support to help us leave cancer behind in the dust!

They're doing what!?
Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.
Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.
The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.
And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.
This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
Donate NowEvery rally. Every dollar.

Box Rallies is the largest funder of cancer research in Australia — outside of the government. Every dollar supports Cancer Council.
