Chris and Blake are taking on the Shitbox Rally 2026 Winter as The Witchity Grubs, driving from Mildura to Townsville in a $1,500-or-less Shitbox on a 7-day adventure across the country. But this isn’t just a road trip for us, it’s deeply personal.

Our team name is a tribute to our Dads, Witchy and Grub. They were more than just Dads, they were our role models, our mates, and the heart of our families. Both were taken far too soon by cancer, in their mid-50s, leaving a hole in our lives that can never be filled. We carry their memory with us every day, and this rally is our way of honouring them while fighting for a future where other families don’t have to say goodbye too soon.

Every single dollar we raise goes straight to Cancer Council to fund critical research, better treatments, and the hope of a cure.

If cancer has touched your life, you know the pain it leaves behind. Please donate whatever you can. Big or small, your support will help save lives and it will mean the world to us. Together, we can turn grief into hope, one dusty kilometre at a time, laughing and yarning all the way as our Dad's would have done!

They're doing what!?

Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.

Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.

The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.

And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.

This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
